S I N

Sin –Throughout the New Testament, God uses leaven as a symbol of sin. Jesus warns, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy" (Luke 12:1). In discussing the danger of sin spreading, Paul uses the phrase "a little leaven leavens the whole lump" on two separate occasions (I Corinthians 5:6; Galatians 5:9). 罪啊! 你太兇狠，馬上離開.

Iron sharpens Iron - (Proverbs 27:17) God's psychology insists that friends build up instead of tear down. The Scripture gives ample instructions for godly communication between friends: "Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful" (Proverbs 27:5-6). 求神賜我鐵磨鐵的朋友。已經好一段日子沒有被人rebuke，但我知聖靈每天在我的禱告中，都給我心警醒。神啊! 求您繼續看顧。

Needle’s Eye - Jesus clearly says that it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Can this be done? Of course not! That is the point! Yet, people have tried in vain to make it happen. The point is that we do not achieve salvation through our own efforts; it is from God alone, by His grace. "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible," Jesus assures us. We have our part to play and are rewarded for our efforts, as Romans 2 explains, but when God takes us from this world, works with us, blesses us, and brings us into His Family, it is truly a miracle. 神的窄門真是奇妙，它提醒了我，世界上一切人造的、物質的都不能進入天堂，我這樣赤身露體的來，也是這樣的去。那我當珍惜甚麽呢？如哥林多後書4:18 「我們不是顧念所見的，乃是顧念所不見的；因為所見的是暫時的，所不見的是永遠的。」

4. Pray for a renewal relationship among Zhu, Lawrence and Charlotte. (answered)
5. Pray for Sandy’s quiet heart in taking Renee’s marriage preparation.
6. Pray for Venie’s health recovery and surrender to God.
7. Pray for PCA’s speaking engagements in schools and being helpful to those parents. (answered)
