We are not different from Gentiles if we only know and remember the law. We have to live out God-like life.
Serving others: LK: 22:27.
25 Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. 27For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves
Loving and Caring for others: 1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Self-discipline: 1Peter 5:8
8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour
It is our dream that everyone would be eventually saved by God and go to heaven for eternity. Before this can be realized, we are going to grow in mature leadership.

Bonnie: This is indeed the beautiful part of your sharing. The last essence – self-discipline strikes me the most. It is always easy for a leader to pick his fellows’ weakness and incompleteness. Matthew 7:1-4 (Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eyes and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?) echoes perfectly with the humbleness you mentioned in 1 Peter 5:6-7. I , therefore, decided to help myself by applying James 1:19-20 to begin with a careful listening than any prompt judgment.
Example of Leader –
