I have heard many times that sisters describe their quiet times to be monotonous, stale, and even boring. Quiet times are like chewing gums to them in the morning: you know you are chewing something, but it becomes tasteless towards the end and now you have to spit it. I would say, "Don't get choked!"
How can we keep our spiritual food "fresh". One blog by Bonnie is very inspiring and encouraging on Feb 6 and 10, 2007. She mentioned about being non-greedy, and non-self. A private connection back to God.
As it says in Psalm 119:97, 113-114
Oh, how I love your law1
I meditate on it all day long.
I hate double-minded men but I love your law.
You are my refuge and my shield.
Fulfilling queit time do not come easily, but God shows his way specifically to me.
It is talking to my best friend. I like it. I would need a quiet place, a devoted heart, and an urge for the bible. All because connecting to my best friend is exciting.
Just like what was said in Bonnie's blog, both will feel very satisfied by the end of a quiet time.
My attitude becomes very important to set up a great quiet time. I have to become self-less first. And I need to start by counting the blessings. When these two are set, my heart goes right to God. It is just like when talking to my kids when they are not obeying, " Who is the boss here?". My answer to that question determines the fruit of a spiritual quiet time.

Learn from a young disciple
Maria is a young disciple for 1 year and 2 months. She is also a precious parent in the precious women ministry. I could see lots of love from her to God and the Kingdom. I confess of my holdback and wrong focus on the wordly matters.
Maria is indeed respected for her sincerity towards QT and relationship with God and sisters. I mean a faithful consistent daily QT. She reinforces her discovery heart in the Words and her spiritual connections by partnering with different sisters in her daily QT.
Monday - BT
Tuesday - Auntie Poon (Golden Girls)
Wednesday - Lucy (pair up BT)
Thursday - Doris (discipler)
Friday - Mrs. Yu (Golden Girls)
Saturday - Lai's mom (in laws)
Sunday - Pair up BTs
Moreover, she pariticipates in the study with Rosanna. She serves in the Precious Women Ministry. She takes care in reminding Mui Ying on church schedules. She chairs all birthday party logistics. She is being very submissive and open to her husband. She reminds her daughter to be a humble woman in Christ. She is the Joyful buddies in our BT. She shared her conviction in the Macau church........She holds a full time job.
I cannot imagine a 55 years old disciple could be so devoted in serving and loving God.
