Sarah - Surely You Jest , Genesis 21:6-7

Sarah's story is famous for her "Laugh of Doubt" was turned to "Laughter of Joy". Even her lack of faith does not prevent God from keeping his promises and accomplishing what he plans. God is bigger than the weaknesses of men and of women.

I particularly like the confrontation from the stranger to Sarah that, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14) What a good coaching question to reveal Sarah's biterness.

Conviction:

• stop doubting. God has His best plan for us.
• stop trying to be in control

I can see many of these occasions:

• doubt creates unnecessary fear and worries
• in control creates limitation and elimnates open opportunities
