Cure for the Common Life

Some thoughts from reading Max Lucado’s recent book titled “Cure for the Common Life.”:

1. We are uniquely made by God for this life.
2. God gives us the unique set of talents to live a good life.
3. If we cannot live a life according to God-given talents, we won’t be living at our best.
4. People who has problem with using God-given talents live in an un-satisfied life.
5. The talents God gives us is for glorifying God’s name.
6. When we can use God-given talents in our lives to glorify God, we will be happy, God will be happy.
7. Most of us do not know our talents but live a life to fulfill either our or others expectations. This is the beginning of a bitter life.
